Dixie Dude
Ranch Situated in Bandera the self-styled 'Cowboy Capital of The World' with its cowboy saloons and wooden boardwalk is the Dixie Dude Ranch. Here you will find the Conoly Family ready to greet you with true Texas warmth and hospitality. Longhorn cattle, cashmere goats and pigs are raised and the real cowboys work the horses and participate in rodeos. Accommodation is rustic but comfortable and cosy all having private facilities and air conditioning. Horseback riding is taken twice daily and there is a swimming pool to cool off, catch and release fishing (gear provided), hiking, hayrides, sing-a-long campfire evenings, in fact so much to do you will wonder where all the time went! When the dinner bell rings ...... its time to savour the home-cooked meals in the friendly atmosphere of a big family gathering. There are outdoor barbeques, Sunday fried chicken and occasionally a cowboy breakfast out on the range. This is a wonderful ranch for people of all ages and families to enjoy.
