Colorado
Colorado's Golden
plains and rugged mountain peaks have inspired many people but none more
poetic than Katherine Lee Bates who wrote the stirring song "America The
Beautiful" while under the spell of Pikes Peak. Colorado has a natural
beauty with activities to match and enhance it. Mountain resort towns
and picturesque dude ranches are ideal gateways to the high country and
great adventures. You can horseback ride or hike through pine forests,
aspen groves and wild flower meadows or try your luck fly-fishing beside
deep mountain lakes. Stir your blood by shooting the rapids in a
whitewater raft or slow down the pace by gliding gracefully through
ancient canyons.
